The ASQ Statistics Division has had a web presence since 1997. The
ASQ Statistics Division has 7000 members; our parent organization,
ASQ, has over 110,000 members. Our latest strategic plan required
a complete overhaul of our website to transition it from a static
communication page to an interactive dynamic tool that attracts
new members and offers the latest in e-learning features and capabilities.
Our goal is to use the re-designed website as a vehicle to deliver
e-Zines, tele-classes, webcasts, and streaming video & audio.
Small Web Solutions totally re-designed and upgraded the look and
feel of our website, and dramatically improved the site navigation
and file maintenance capabilities. Despite a very aggressive timeline,
the re-design project completed on time and in budget. Small Web
Solutions has been very responsive to our requests and has offered
many helpful suggestions for improvement.

Illiana section of the American Society for Quality has about 300
members. We had been looking for help setting up a website for our
section for over 3 years. We had some general ideas concerning the
website but very little background in website development. We finally
chose Small Web Solutions to help us.

The website has been very successful. Our members have found the
website extremely useful and have been impressed with its professional
look.
The design phase of the website went very smoothly. The board
members of our Section are all volunteers with many other time commitments
and little prior experience designing a website. The website designer,
Jackie Webster, was extremely creative, patient and helpful.
We use the website to post our newsletter. This has resulted in
a significant savings to our section. The printing and mailing costs
of our section newsletter had been the largest single cost to our
budget. The cost of the website development plus maintenance was
less than a third of single year of printing and mailing newsletters.
We also post our schedule of general meetings on the website.
Our members can review the meetings at their convenience and can
even make reservations through the website. The reservation function
of the website has been very useful to our membership.
